The Property

Westgate at Powers is in the Pikes Peak Enterprise Zone which means businesses operating within this zone may be eligible for income tax credits or other tax breaks. 3% Investment tax credit on all equipment used in the zone. 3% credit on research and development conducted in the zone. Exemption form 3% state sales tax on any manufacturing equipment used in the zone. $500 credit for each new employee hired to work in a new business facility in the zone. Another $400 is added over two years if the business pays for at least half of employee's health insurance. Local governments also can rebate or refund personal property and sales tax on equipment used in the zone.
